Death By Booze

Apparently 21 Captain & Cokes in a 3 hour time period and I am dead . I feel like I might have done this a few times in the past and here I am to blog about it. Yes, I can be stupid but give me some credit, the days of drinking that much dates back to college.

It would take 21 Captain & Cokes to kill me!

iPhone Idiot

Have you seen the commercial in which the pilot talks about avoiding a 3 hour delay thanks to his iPhone? Yeah…we don’t buy it either. But, someone did, and got spanked because of it. Because of weather delays, a guy’s plane gets diverted to a different airport. But, thanks to his trusty iPhone, the man notices the all-clear, and notifies the Flight Attendant. When relayed to the pilot, the pilot responded over the air with:

“If the passenger with the iPhone would be kind enough to use it to check the weather at our alternate, calculate our fuel burn due to being rerouted around the storms, call the dispatcher to arrange our release, and then make a phone call to the nearest Air Traffic Control center to arrange our timely departure amongst the other aircraft carrying passengers with iPhones, then we will be more than happy to depart. Please ring your call button to advise the Flight Attendant and your fellow passengers when you deem it ready and responsible for this multi-million dollar aircraft and its passengers to safely leave.”

You knew this was going to happen sooner rather than later…Just classic!
