I know 12 minutes is a little long but it's worth the time. FUNNY SHIT

It has been a long time since I posted anything and now that I have a moment.... Well that is bullshit since I should be able to find a moment even when I am busy. The thing is, I have a good amount of free time right now and I don't have an excuse to not post anything.

Three pieces of electronic heaven I would like to have in my hands as they are released in the coming days / months.

1st - Verizon's 8703e Blackberry. All the rumor sites are and even Verizon is saying September 17th. It is a welcomed up-grade to the 7250 that I have had for almost 2 years.

2nd - Logitech's 1000 Harmony Remote Control. I have the 880 but this new silver piece of eye candy would totally pimp out my coffee table.

3rd - Microsoft's (Yes, I wrote Microsoft) WED 7000 - the new wireless entertainment desktop keyboard and mouse. This just looks like an ideal addition to my office desk that will streamline my efficiency even more. Yeah Right....

Backyard Pool

I know almost everyone wants a pool in their backyard and yes, you can include me in that group. Now I really, really, really, want a pool (yup even this little deformed fucker) in my backyard. Here it is, the easiest way to get your boyfriend, husband, or kids to clean that fucking leaf collector without complaints - Jet Net!

Colds

Let me start by saying that I am not looking for sympathy but being sick sucks. I could fill a small cup with the snot in my nose but for some fucking reason when I blow it nothing comes out. It's weird, but I can't even remember the last time I had a fever and took a day off from work. I guess it's better to not give the co-workers the bug.

The nice part of this whole thing is that this has given me a 3 day weekend. I will enjoy it but dread the pile of work that is waiting for Monday. Happy Friday!

No MacBook Today!!!

It sucks when you are expecting new products from Apple, all the rumor sites are calling for it, it makes sense for them to be released, and then NOTHING, what a let down....

Mac Rumors is reporting:
After high expectations of an iBook revision today, ThinkSecret claims that the MacBook release was postponed due to low inventory of the unreleased MacBook. The next date being targeted is May 16th, 2006. (aka "Next Tuesday").

I guess I really don't care since I won't be buying a new MacBook when it's realeased and honestly we all know what's coming. The bigger deal is going to be the true Video iPod.

High Definition TV / TiVo

A couple weeks ago I finally decided to advance my TV viewing and jump on the High Definition band wagon. My TV was ready, all I needed was the HD converter / box / receiver / TiVo. Yes, HD with TiVo has been out there and recently through DirecTV I was able to get the DirecTV TiVo HR10-250 at a reasonable price. I won't get into the entire installation process because that isn't the point.

Drum Roll please.... Blam I turn on The Masters being broadcast on CBS in HD 1080i. Shit! Wow! Speechless for a few minutes... Rachel come over here and look at the picture!!! I knew it was going to be good but sitting in my living room (not in Best Buy's showroom) watching HD was better than I could have ever imagined.

Since then I have been recording all of my shows in HD and become a more or less an HD bitch. Regular TV just doesn't look that good anymore. A good way to explain my love (for TiVo owners). Remember getting TiVo and realizing you will never watch TV with out TiVo again... I don't ever want to watch TV without HD TiVo again!
